Jeep Wrangler MPG
EPA ratings for the 2021–2022 Wrangler run from 19–20 mpg combined for the 3.6L V6 to 22–23 mpg for the 2.0L turbo, and the 3.0L EcoDiesel reaches 25 mpg combined (22 city / 29 highway). Fuel tanks hold 17.5 gallons on the two-door and 21.5 gallons on the four-door.
Wrangler towing capacity
Jeep rates four-door Wranglers to tow up to 3,500 lb and two-doors up to 2,000 lb when properly equipped, with either gasoline engine.
Wrangler engines and oil capacity
The 3.6L Pentastar V6 makes 285 hp and 260 lb-ft, the 2.0L turbo 270 hp and 295 lb-ft, and the EcoDiesel 260 hp and 442 lb-ft. Jeep's owner's manuals list 5 quarts of oil for both gasoline engines (SAE 0W-20 for the V6, 5W-30 for the turbo) and 9 quarts of 5W-40 for the diesel.
