The Bronco Filson edition is Ford's answer to buyers who want a Bronco with a genuinely premium cabin but no loss of trail hardware. Built with outdoor-gear maker Filson, the 2027 Bronco Filson is a new rugged premium model in the Bronco lineup.
What the 2027 Bronco Filson gets
The off-road hardware is not watered down. Every Bronco Filson comes standard with the Sasquatch package:
- front and rear electronic locking differentials
- Fox shocks with internal bypass valving
- 35-inch rugged-terrain tires
Power comes from the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 shared with the Bronco Raptor, with its own calibration for this model. Ford has not published a separate horsepower figure for the Filson tune yet. Trail Turn Assist, Trail 1-Pedal Drive and seven G.O.A.T. drive modes — Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Baja, Off-Road and Rock Crawl — are standard, along with a 12-inch SYNC 4 screen and a 360-degree camera.
A Bronco cabin built to wear in
Inside, the Filson look is quilted, perforated leather mixed with a woven fabric modeled on Filson's twill, a leather-wrapped dashboard and steering wheel, and brass accents on the wheel and the drive-mode dial. Filson-style removable saddlebags mount on the doors, with optional bags for the cargo area, and new power running boards help with the tall step-in.
Ford also calls it the quietest Bronco cabin so far: acoustic glass, better seals and revised airflow cut perceived wind noise by nearly 20% compared with the 2021 Bronco. Outside, it wears a unique grille with BRONCO lettering, painted wheel-arch trim and mirror caps, and tie-downs sized for carrying a canoe.
Colors are Field Green Metallic (exclusive to the Filson), Marsh Gray, Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, Shadow Black and Oxford White.
Bronco Filson First Edition
For launch, North American buyers can get a Bronco Filson First Edition with exclusive Iron Sands Copper Metallic paint, its own fender badge, a serialized console plaque and the Filson cargo bags.
2027 Bronco release date and price
Ford says Bronco Filson orders open in fall 2026, and the first trucks reach showrooms in early 2027. Like every Bronco since the nameplate returned in 2021, it is built at Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan.
Ford's target starting price is in the mid-$70,000s. That puts the Filson well above most of the lineup; we will add the final MSRP and the rest of the 2027 Bronco prices once Ford publishes them.
