Toyota made the 2027 Camry official on October 13, and the short version is that almost nothing changes. The midsize sedan stays hybrid-only, keeps the same five trims and equipment, and still starts just under $30,000. What buyers mostly want to know is what each trim costs and how much fuel economy they give up as they move up the lineup, so that is what this page covers.
2027 Camry price by trim
Toyota's release gives a starting MSRP of $29,700 for the LE. CarsDirect, Autoblog and Motor1 all report the same figures for the rest of the lineup. Prices below exclude Toyota's delivery, processing and handling fee.
| 2027 Camry trim | FWD | AWD |
|---|---|---|
| LE | $29,700 | $31,225 |
| SE | $32,200 | $33,725 |
| Nightshade | $33,200 | $34,725 |
| XLE | $34,900 | $36,425 |
| XSE | $36,100 | $37,625 |
All-wheel drive is available on every trim and adds $1,525.
How much more is that than a 2026 Camry? It depends on which 2026 price you compare against. Against the 2026 sticker prices CarsDirect lists (LE at $29,600), every 2027 trim is just $100 higher. Motor1 measures against a $29,000 2026 LE and arrives at $700 per trim. Either way, the base Camry still stays below $30,000 before fees.

2027 Camry hybrid horsepower
There is a single powertrain: Toyota's fifth-generation hybrid system with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and an electronically controlled CVT.
- FWD: 225 net combined horsepower
- AWD: 232 net combined horsepower, with Toyota's Electronic On-Demand all-wheel drive
NORMAL, ECO and SPORT drive modes are standard. The hybrid components carry an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty, and the hybrid battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles.
2027 Camry MPG by trim
Toyota estimates 51 mpg combined for the 2027 Camry LE with front-wheel drive. EPA ratings for the 2027 model have not been posted on fueleconomy.gov yet; because the powertrain carries over, the 2026 EPA figures below are the best guide to how the trims compare.
| 2026 Camry (EPA) | City | Highway | Combined |
|---|---|---|---|
| LE FWD | 52 mpg | 49 mpg | 51 mpg |
| SE, XLE, XSE FWD | 47 mpg | 45 mpg | 46 mpg |
| LE AWD | 50 mpg | 49 mpg | 50 mpg |
| SE, XLE AWD | 46 mpg | 46 mpg | 46 mpg |
| XSE AWD | 43 mpg | 43 mpg | 43 mpg |
The LE, on 16-inch wheels, is the efficiency pick. The other front-drive trims, which ride on 18- or 19-inch wheels, are rated five mpg lower combined, and the XSE AWD is the thirstiest Camry at 43 mpg.
What each 2027 Camry trim gets
