Order books for the 2027 Jeep Wrangler are open, and Jeep's website now shows the new prices. The short answer for shoppers: the cheapest Wrangler costs $600 more, the Sahara costs $2,500 more but comes far better equipped, and the engines are the same as before. Here is what every 2027 Wrangler trim costs and what changed.
2027 Jeep Wrangler starting price
Jeep lists the 2027 Wrangler from $36,635, up from $36,035 for the 2026 model. CarBuzz reports that this is the two-door Sport and that a $1,995 destination charge brings it to $38,630.
Autoblog published the full 2027 price list, before destination. It does not say which body style the figures refer to, and its Sport price is higher than Jeep's headline number, which CarBuzz ties to the two-door Sport.

2027 Jeep Wrangler 392 price
The V8 Wranglers come only as four-doors. The Willys 392 goes up $1,000 to $70,995 before destination, while the top Moab 392 holds at $79,995. Both use the 6.4-liter V8 with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft.
Why the 2027 Wrangler Sahara costs $2,500 more
The Sahara (four-door only) gets the biggest price increase because Jeep moved a long list of options into its standard equipment:
- McKinley-trimmed seats and side steps
- a nine-speaker Alpine audio system and built-in navigation
- rear park assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection
- automatic high beams, an auto-dimming mirror and a universal garage door opener
- the front-facing off-road TrailCam
2027 Wrangler changes: what else is new
- Sport, Sport S and Willys get a 7-inch color display in the instrument cluster in place of the old basic unit. Sport S and Willys also add passive entry.
- Willys two-door now has the vented power-dome hood that the four-door Willys already had.
- Rubicon adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and built-in navigation as standard.
- New colors: Ghost, plus limited-run Fathom Blue and Gum 31. Gobi, Sting Gray and Hella Yella return later in the model year.
The Moab 392, Willys 392, Whitecap, Rewind and Rockslide special editions carry over. Jeep's 2027 trim list — Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Willys 392 and Moab 392 — does not include a 4xe plug-in hybrid.
Is the 2027 Wrangler a redesign?
No. The 2027 model is an equipment and pricing update of the current JL Wrangler, not a new generation. The engine lineup is unchanged:

Jeep quotes up to 5,000 lb of towing, up to 12.9 inches of ground clearance and up to 34 inches of water fording when properly equipped. The Wrangler is still built at the Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio.
Twelve 4 Twelve special editions
Jeep has been releasing limited editions on the 12th of the month under its Twelve 4 Twelve program. The 11th, the Wrangler JL-2A, is a Rubicon-based tribute to the Willys CJ-2A with retro 17-inch wheels, 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires and a tan Nappa leather cabin; the package costs $4,995, and orders open in October. The 12th and final release, the Wrangler Switchback, arrived on October 12.
