Toyota's owner's manual gives the gas RAV4 a trailer weight rating of 1,500 lb, or 3,500 lb with the towing package.
RAV4 engine and oil capacity
The 2.5L four-cylinder makes 203 hp at 6,600 rpm and 184 lb-ft with an 8-speed automatic. Toyota lists 4.8 quarts of SAE 0W-16 with the filter, and wheel nuts are torqued to 76 lb-ft.
